Personally, I love news stories about stupid criminals, local anecdotes, etc., and I know several other people who do, too. Maybe we can make a separate forum about stories like that if Janice doesn't want them on Chit Chat? I'm sure there is a way we can compromise.

I like them also especially the one's out Florida but I can see where Janice is coming from. I'd suggest keeping them in the random posts forum.

It's not that we don't want them. There's just too many and they shouldn't dominate the board. Maybe if they were limited to 2-3 per day it wouldn't be as noticeable.

I never said I didnt wan't want them on Chit Chat, and I did offer a compromise, which was moderation. The day I posted the thread politely asking members to please stop, you had 25 news articles on page one alone. They were flooding the board. Chit Chit isn't a news forum. TJ says three at the most, so three it is.
