Light years apart how much better Get Smart Again was. I had read reviews before I saw the Nude Bomb so I wasn't expecting much from it. It wasn't a horrible movie, but it almost had nothing to do with the series. Don Adams did fine with the material but besides his catchphrases and a brief scene with Larabee (the best scene in the movie) it was like something completely different. How do you not even mention 99 in the Nude Bomb. It was like the crew had never even seen the show.


Get Smart Again was very typical of 80's reunion movies, but it was at least fun. It was nice seeing them together. All the chemistry carried over to the movie, something that was completely missing in the Nude Bomb. I also couldn't get over how much that Hymie looked the same. Plots of both movies are very silly, but that is what made the show so fun in the first place. The writing in the second movie was so much better, it was nice seeing involvement from some of the original writers and producers.


If you never see the Nude Bomb you really aren't missing anything worthwhile, but catch Get Smart Again if you ever have the chance too.

Yeah, I have never wanted to see The Nude Bomb but have seen Get Smart, Again. I had gotten it from NetFlix a couple years ago and believe I kept that thing for like 3 months or someting, lol. I LOVED it. I know own it. :)

Yeah, I picked it up when it came out. I liked it for the most part. The best one was when Siegfried came back. It was like things had never changed.

The Nude Bomb was a actually a good movie....for 1980.

Back then most movies were pretty much forgettable. True some were hits such as 9 to 5, Urban Cowboy, Porkys, Friday the 13th but most were like films such as A Little Sex, All Night Long, Hollywood Knights , S.O.B., The Joy of Sex, Serial and The Nude Bomb....add some sex to the script and expect some folks to go to the theatre.

In othe words, they had their moments ( well most anyway ) but nothing special.

Then came the summer of 82 and E.T...and the rest they say was history.

I quite liked The Nude Bomb even with 99 missing. The one thing that bothered me was Dana Elcar playing the chief. It didn't work for me.
