Uni Foils CBS Films' Beastly Plans for July

According to the official Facebook page, CBS Films has decided to move their romantic horror thriller Beastly to a later date.

It was originally slated for release on July 30th



"'Beastly' fans-You guys are awesome-so we wanted to make sure you were the first to hear the official news, 'Beastly' is moving off of July 30th.

We've been hearing from fans, so we know that having both Zac and Vanessa's movies opening on the same day could be a real dilemma for people, so we are moving 'Beastly'.

We'll keep you posted on all the latest, so keep checking back here for all things 'Beastly'."




Directed by Daniel Barnz, and starring Vanessa Hudgens, Alex Pettyfer, Mary-Kate Olsen, Neil Patrick Harris, and Peter Krause, when a spell is cast on a handsome egocentric young man (Pettyfer) that physically transforms him into everything he despises, he has one year to find a young woman (Hudgens) who will love him despite his hideous form or the spell will last forever.

Say Goodbye to Beastly... At Least Until 2011

Two weeks back CBS Films was forced to move their "Beauty and the Beast" tale Beastly to avoid opening against Universal's Charlie St. Cloud.

CBS has announced a new date today, and boy is it a delay. March 18, 2011.




"'Beastly's' new date is MARCH 18, 2011! Thank you for all your patience 'Beastly' fans. The studio is so proud of the work that the filmmakers, Vanessa and Alex have done and of the fan support and look forward to showing you the movie!

CBS Films released a new poster for their teen horror drama Beastly, now arriving in theaters March of 2011.

It touts: "Love is never ugly."


Daniel Barnz's film is a modern telling of "Beauty and the Beast".

The other day I stopped over at a yard sale and this guy was selling VHS for $.50 a piece. I saw he had a "Beauty and the Beast" VHS so I picked it up...

Thanks. The box is a little torn but it pretty much is in good shape, the tape itself is great.

btw, do you know how many of these tapes were made? From what I can see most of Season 1 and 2 got put out on tape. I didn't see any for Season 3...
