I noticed a few things with ALN the past week -

They've been airing season 4 of RHODA since the end of April. Last week they skipped two episodes which originally ran back-to-back: 'Nightschool' (Rhoda and Brenda go to nightshcool, and Rhoda is accused of cheating) and 'Gary and Ida' (Gary's parents move to Florida, so Ida decides to 'mother' him). Instead, they jumped ahead and aired "As Time Goes By" TWICE - last Wednesday and Thursday! One of the worst episodes ever (Rhoda and Jack get locked in a bathroom and get drunk), they aired it two days in a row!


Does anyone know why or how this happened?

PS - by the looks of it, Season 5 should start airing next Wednesday, June 2. If they do air the two eps they skipped, S5 will begin on Monday, the 7th.

They didn't air the two skipped eps, and Season 5 began airing today right on schedule. The good thing about S5 - the opening 'jazz' theme. The worst (of a long list of many) - Rhoda's perm.

i noticed that as well, and the guide has been off by a day with the episode descriptions for at least the past two season's worth of episodes

hopefully they will show the skipped eps in the next cycle!!

They even messed up with the simple thirteen eps of Season 5! There was one (rather unfunny) ep in S5, in which Martin swallows a piece of jewelry he bought for Ida. I think this was ep 10? Anyhow, they didn't bother airing it - reaired 'Brenda's engagement' instead.
