That being said, I'd like to see an Apple user eat a PC. ;) **mooooooeow...the cat cow** Kay Scarpetta 12-13-2001, 02:29 PM Originally posted by moofomoo YUP...the company is Apple Macintosh. When I go home, I will find our picture of a cat cow and post it here...won't be til late tonight though...but worth looking at. :D **mooooooobaa!...i am the great and powerful moobaa!!** I am TOO dang bored today to let my mind off its leash, but I'm doing it anyway! MLB 12-14-2001, 05:53 PM If we're talking about right now, I'd say PC, but in elemetary school (for me, 1991-97) my various classmates and I had some pretty great times (okay, maybe not great, but about as good as it gets at school) playing games like Oregon Trail and Number Munchers on Apple IIs. moofomoo 12-16-2001, 04:34 PM OMG, I used to LOVE playing Oregon Trail, it's the coolest game to teach a little kid to play! I miss the days when I wanted to get the colour monitor to play Oregon Trail in the computer lab! *sighs* memories. **moo** PS...Didn't forget about the cat cow, just got busy...I'm not even HOME right now. lol Kay Scarpetta 12-16-2001, 04:44 PM Originally posted by moofomoo OMG, I used to LOVE playing Oregon Trail, it's the coolest game to teach a little kid to play! Although, they always died Kay Scarpetta 12-16-2001, 04:46 PM Originally posted by MLB Number Munchers OMG Number Munchers!! LOL I love that game also. Even better- Word Munchers!! Although, I always got eatin by the little monsters...... Lynn 12-16-2001, 10:23 PM Oregon Trail was the best thing about computer lab in elementary school! I also thought playing with that Turtle thing was fun (I don't know what it was called?) It was that program where you used commands to draw a simple picture. Forward 20, right 90……it took forever. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Paula 12-18-2001, 05:19 AM Definitely Apple, although unfortunately I have a PC (b/c it was given to me for free). If you're someone who has to write a lot of term papers, you've probably already discovered that most of the software that's compatible with the PC happens to be Microsoft products. Thumbs down to Microsoft and Bill Gates (for selling crap to people all the time....most of my professors often make this complaint too). I am so sick of all the bugs that come with Microsoft products and software (for instance- no doubt that everyone here is familiar with the famous line from Microsoft that goes "There was an internal error. One or more of your windows will be shut down") [and then you have no choice but to close down your window.] Ridiculous!!!
