With the Original Law & Order Ending, I wonder if Sam Waterston's character is done or will they move him to another L & O series? He has been with the show for over 16 seasons. I hope we haven't seen the last of ol' Jack McCoy.

I think we'll still see good ol' Jack pop up on one of the other L&O shows from time to time. Only time will tell!!

Yeah even if they don't make him a regular on one of the other L&O shows there's no reason why he can't appear as a guest star occasionally. I expect he will!

After all, when Fred Thompson played the DA on L&O, he popped up quite a bit on SVU, as well as the short-lived Trial By Jury.

Excellent example!

I think Dianne Wiest also popped up on SVU a few times while starring on L&O. I know Angie Harmon did.

Maybe he'll be transferrred to Los Angeles when the series titled "Law and Order :Los Angeles"or "LOLA"makes its debut this fall on NBC.

Assuming Sam Waterston wants to leave NYC, which I doubt he does. He's pushing 70, after all.

"Jack McCoy" will turn up in Los Angeles on at least one episode of the new series. Dick Wolf has a habit of moving characters around from one "L&O" series to another, like a chessboard with "floating pieces"....
