Herb appeared in one episode of "Golden Palace". It was called "One Angry Stan" and aired on April 30, 1993. Herb Edelman died of Emphysema on July 21, 1996.

In the episode, Stan supposedly faked his death- but it's open to interpretation whether that's actrually what happened, or if Sophia was imagining interacting with Stan (as she was the only one who saw and spoke to him).
