John Travolta and Kelly Preston Are Expecting!


John Travolta and Kelly Preston, who have lived through the tragedy of losing a son, can now announce the best news they've had in years.

Preston, 47, is pregnant, the family tells PEOPLE.

"It’s impossible to keep a secret ... especially one as wonderful as this," they say in a statement. "We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family.

Wow, this is GREAT news for the Travoltas! You can never replace a person, or an animal for that matter; yet, you can fill your life with joy and happiness. I'm thrilled for them. Something tells me that I'll be sorry I asked, but what happened to their dogs? :(

A service vehicle in the Bangor International Airport, Maine, hit and killed two dogs of John Travolta.

The municipality said the accident occurred shortly after members of the family of the actor landed a plane on Thursday and take the dogs walking down the runway. The city issued a statement after the Bangor Daily News newspaper confirmed the crash through an e-mail the administrator of the City Council.

A spokesman of Jhon Travolta did not return a message seeking comment.

The star of films such as Grease, Fever Saturday night and Pulp Fiction is an accomplished pilot who often travels to Bangor when he turns to his home in Islesboro, near the coast of Maine.
The airport manager Rebecca Hupp expressed its sincere condolences to the family
