The first thing that I would like to mention is that I realize that I already used this as a title of a thread on the "Mad About You" page. However, that thread is pushed so for down the first page of that section that I would think that it is long forgotten by most posters. The fact that it is pushed down the page so far is mainly because of my more recent attempts to stimulate some converstion about that fine series! That page gets about as little action as this one by anyone other than me! In any event, I have noticed that my most recent thread on this page has eleven views and zero replies. I have already used the number eleven to commemorate the fact that it has been that many years since both "Caroline" and "Mad About You" have left prime-time. I will now commemorate the number eleven with something entirely different! Eleven years ago, a biography of J.D. Salinger was published. As most of you probably know, he was still living at the time. My guess would be that, if it has not already been done, someone will write a new book about him that tells about his life all the way to his death earlier this year. In any event, I thought that the last book about him was a pretty good read. Are any of you fans of his work? In any event, whenever I see something that was accomplished in 1999, I am always amazes! In spite of people being terrified of Y2K, life still managed to go on!
