on our on-screen listings, whenever they say what this show's about they always say for the title of the episode "THE ONE WHERE...." then they describe the episode.

I have also taken note of what you are saying? However, I am not sure what you are asking us if we have.

I'm asking if the episode descriptions in your listings are the same way.

Yeah, that's how they are on the DVDs and episode guides all over the internet. I guess that was their "thing" like Monk always had "Mr. Monk and ..."

I remember one of the producers or writers saying that they named it that way so when people ask around (as an example) "what was the one episode of Friends where Joey's refrigerator breaks?" - they don't have to look far because it's actually titled "The One with Joey's Fridge". They said something like that, at least. (Of course, they could've just named it "Joey's Fridge" but I guess that was just their style).

I find it strange when they mix up the info for the episodes and keep it that way for a loooong time. Like now, now that they moved Friends to 6-7 PM EST on WPIX (local channel), the episode they list for 6:30 under info is ALWAYS actually the title and info for the episode that they air at night, at 11:30 PM. And the info for the 11:30 PM episode has a generic "Six friends hang out at a coffee house" as the description every time, instead of the actual episode title/info.

They used to do for a while a long time ago too, they'd just mix up the two episodes and list the wrong info for each one; I never understood why either no one caught it or no one bothered to change it. Not a big deal or anything, it's just interesting.
