On the eleventh of this month, I posted a message called "The Success of Helen". The main point of this thread was to bring up all of the wonderful things that Helen Hunt has accomplished after not getting the part of Katie Kinisky. Well, that thread now had forteen views and zero replies. A similar situation happened on the "Mad About You" page of this site. Incidentially, playing the part of Jamie Buchman from that show was one of her many achievements since failing to play Katie from this show! In any event, to commemorate the number of views of that thread, I posted a new thread called "Muppets Tonight". Do any of you remember that short-lived series? Because of how crazy I am about the Muppets, I watched it religiously! In any event, it came out in 1996 which was forteen years ago. This is how I got in the forteen angle. As a lot of you probably know, by this stage in the game, Jim Henson had already been dead for several years. I guess that the main reason that this show bombed is that people felt that, with him gone, the magic was gone. Just like there will never be another Nell Carter or Dolph Sweet, there were also never be another Jim Henson! May they all rest in peace together!
