I remember a case about a man who was a victim of a car bombing. The reenactment was quite disturbing, showing him walking out of his home, getting behind the wheel...and the car violently exploding. Anyone remember the victim's name, and if there were ever any updates to the case?

It's most likely the Lee Carter, Jr. case. It's the only car bombing one I remember. This happened about 2 miles from me. He was killed by a member of the Hell's Angels. They got him, and while he was incarcerated, faked an illness and escaped from the hospital. Several years later, he was pulled over in Montreal, and arrested, again. This time he stayed in prison.

That's it! Thanks. (I remembered that the victim was a "junior".) Glad to hear the perp was brought to justice. What a horrible way to off someone...

Yeah. My mother and he were actually good friends. I guess he was a really nice guy. He had become a narc, but he was only informing on a certain group of smugglers (which were tied to the HA), because they had done something that had hurt or killed his wife. I can't remember the whole story. Outside of that group, he wished no one harm. If you google his name and Rouses Point, you can probably find out more info. Or if you go to PressRepublican.com, and search the archives. They're bound to have more, if you're interested.
