NBC has signed its first unscripted series for the fall season with the pickup of School Pride, from Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines.

The series follows a group that assists communities in restoring aging educational facilities, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Hines and Denise Cramsey (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition) will executive produce.

School Pride joins scripted series The Cape, Outlaw, Harry's Law, Friends with Benefits, Perfect Couples, Chase, Undercovers, The Event, Love Bites, Outsourced and Law & Order: Los Angeles as new NBC shows for the 2010-11 season.

NBC did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
