Once again, I have bleed dry what I can think of to write about the show or the actors and actresses and so I am posting another thread to commemorate the number of views of one of my previous threads! My post titled "Five Penguins" now has ten views and zero replies. Ten years ago, Leslea Newman published a book titled "Girls will be Girls". For those of you who do not recognize the name of the author, she wrote the childrens' book "Heather Has Two Mommies". In any event, "Girls will be Girls" is a book of lesbian literiture. I own a copy and have read it from cover to cover. One way that that could be associated with this show is that, in the duration of the series, Paul's sister Debbie came out of the closet and took on with a woman named Joan. I have also heard and read in various places that the actress who played Jamie's sister Lisa is a real-life lesbian. I started a thread about this called "Is Anne Gay?". When I came here today, I saw that it was at the very bottom of the first page of this section. Now that I am posting this, it will move to the second page! Depending on what type of reception this thread gets, I may bring it back to the top to try and stimulate some more conversation.
