"Hey Dad" from the 80s...Sarah Monahan has been in the news and 12 other ladies who were children back then are also saying the same man molested them while guesting on the show...its been in the news...but we dont even have a thread about it.

Yes....but it is english speaking...and other sitcoms from other countries are discussed here....and this is a big mess that was shoved under the rug and goes all the way up to the creators of the show with the cover up...and now its biting them on the ass.

I remember Erin Moran making the same kind of claims at the end of Happy Days and the spin off about another cast member molesting her when she was very young.

Apparently this is news in Australia only which is probably why there's no topic on it here. A Google news search yielded only one very brief story.

I got tons of results just by using "Hey Dad" Scandal as keywords...sure its the biggest story in Austrailia...why isnt it here???...Nancy Grace about gave birth on the air when Steve Irwin put his baby in a crocks mouth...this is a much bigger story...just imagine if this was "Full House"...it would be big news all over the world...that sitcom was just as popular on that contenant.

There's a big difference between Steve Irwin, Full House and Hey Dad. The first two had more exposure in the U.S. than Hey Dad so of course anything about them making the news would most likely have been discussed here. Hey Dad may have been a very popular series in Australia and this news may be big there but it's hardly a drop in the bucket here.
