no, he died of aids-related cancer not full-blown aids.

I always thought it was aids too, until I heard that.

Daddy I'd like to (rhymes with duck).

Yes, I know he was homosexual but I can't deny he was a good looking man!!!

Does anyone here know who Anne Ramsay is? I have encountered several people who have confused her with Anne Ramsey of "Throw Mamma from the Train" fame. Anne Ramsay is a bit part player who has appeared in a lot of movies and series. Think back to the most recent "Planet of the Apes" movie. However, the thing that she is best known for is playing Lisa Stemple in "Mad About You". That was my favorite show during its entire run! Helen Hunt cannot be beat in my opinion! In any case, I have read and heard from several sourses that she is a lesbian. The reason that I am telling you guys all of this is to find out how you feel about the irony of this situation. Do you think that it is in the same league as a gay man playing an All-American Dad like Mike Brady? Another comparitive situation is learning that All American Mom Elise Keaton was also played by a babe who bats for the other team. And then there is always Rock Hudson who was contstantly playing the part of a lady's man! Well, because Anne never really rose to the type of fame as these other stars, it is hard to compare her. However, as Lisa Stemple, she did play a babe who was quite man-hungry. She was also constantly feeling sorry for herself for how little she had in the way of a bosom! Any thoughts anyone?

He does look good in that b/w photo.

I can't believe it's been 18 years. At the time I had only been watching the show for about a year and was shocked to find out that he was gay and had passed away from an AIDS related illness.

Great realistic actor too, I thought he fit the role so well as the dad of the Brady Bunch, his legacy lives on in the Brady Bunch for sure

Johnny be good!
