In this sitting, I have already been through all of the pages of shows that I have any interest in. There was very little that was new and nothing that I thought was worthy of a reply. By looking at the most recent threads you can see my efforts to start some conversation about this series! This best thing that I can think of now is to post a thread to commemorate the eleven views of my last thread on this page. Eleven years ago, Laura Zigman wrote a book with the title that I gave this thread. Is anyone here familiar with this novel. It was the first major novel by this author. I never read this book, but I read the second and third novels by this author. The second was a year later and it was called "Dating Big Bird". I am not sure, but I think that it was in 2001 that she wrote her third book called "Her". I thought that both of these told pretty decent stories. Whenever, I see something published in 1999, it always amazes me! As worried as the world was about
Y2K, people were still able to get on with their lives, write books and get them published! I guess that life cannot stop just because we are scared. At this stage in the game, Nell Carter was still alive. I am not sure, but I think that the actor who played Uncle Ed was still living as well. I wonder how worried these people and the rest of the cast of the show who was still living were about the unknown realities of the comming millinium! Any thoughts anyone?
