Betty White May Be Hosting The Oscars

Manhattan, New York (X17online) - Fresh off her very successful Saturday Night Live hosting stint, Betty White may be getting closer to landing her next gig as host of the Oscars.
The 88-year-old actress is getting major support via Facebook, which is where the SNL hosting gig originated, as well. A Facebook page has just been created called "Getting Betty White to Host the Academy Awards," and already, close to 10,000 supporters are on the White bandwagon.
Last year's Academy Awards was hosted by Hugh Jackson. As for White, she has signed on to star in a new sitcom called Hot in Cleveland with Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick.
