It would certainly create some awkward moments between them and Leonard. And those are always great for comedy.

No thanks, I think these two work better as friends, and adversaries, hooking them up would kill that. Besides Sheldon would never appreciate Penny for the great woman she is. I know it's a sitcom but friends should never share a woman

It has certainly crossed my mind. In a few scenes here and there, I sense what I *think* is sexual tension between these two characters, and then I snap out of it. And shudder a little ("eeewwww").

I don't think Penny and Sheldon should get together though. Better not turn the one good sitcom on network TV into a silly soap opera. Perhaps a dream sequence though, or some other fantasy setting...I could handle that.

No. Just No. I am a little surprised Penny hasn't gotten a new guy, but that could be the finale or her leaving for NYC for her career. I am expecting something big for the finale.

I admit that I do support "Shenny" as a fan-fiction couple but if they were ever to become one on the series it would ruin the illusion because you would see that though the idea is appealing to think about it would never work in reality. Sheldon is far too condescending, and arrogant and Penny while she cares for Sheldon there is moments you can see where she just can't stand him and vise versa. Honestly, I don't think Penny should get with any of the guys. Mainly because they are all good friends and knowing that Leonard/Penny have a history it would cause too much friction and tension and the group themselves would more than likely break up and then there would be no show.
