What does it take to sell a sitcom now a days? Let me try to refrase this. What I mean is do they always have to have a cusse word or be dirty like some of Chuck Lorre's sitcoms?

I don't want people to think I am dissing Chuck Lorre as I do like The Big Bang Theory but, I was never much of a fan of his.

Big Bang is the only show of his I can stomach. The rest are vulgar, unfunny POS's in my opinion.

Another thing I was wondering is why isn't there any more shows like The insert star's name here Show?

I know they just did The Bill Engvale Show.

the answer to both questions is simple: times change and trends come and go. I feel like things are shifting back around and sitcoms will be popular again soon. As for Chuck Lorre, i was a big fan of "Dharma & Greg" and i love 'The Big bang theory" i can't stand 2.5 men.
