Although I pay respects to film director and actor Robert Townsend, The Parent Hood was not one of the best achievements. They always have topics are clunky, and their
jokes are too corny. TPH has this mood in the episodes that play that pisses me off because they do not give me what I want in television. One, the script is like an afroblaxploitation. In one episode, they had Wendell's parents wat chicken wings off the
floor and fishsticks frozen, that seemed to be a little too ghetto. They do not tell it is, and that is why it lasted only four years on WB. But although, I feel that The Parent Hood should be on the oldies network. For real, it was ahead of its years.
