Which banker character did you like better?Mr.Barnesdahl or Mr.Mooney?Although both charaters weren't very nice,Mr.Mooney was a little better and funnier.I liked when Lucy's high-school chum Rosie(The Countess Framboise-but she wasn't REALLY a countess-played by the late Ann Sothern) --called Mr.Mooney "Mr.Money".

I liked Mr. Barnsdahl as he was different from Mr. Mooney. Barnsdahl would read the document from Lucy's late husband saying no to requests for extra money. Mooney just yelled.

Charles Lane stated in interviews that he knew his time on The Lucy Show was a limited prospect as Gale Gordon's role on Dennis The Menace was ending (due to falling ratings). Lucy always wanted Gale to begin with (just as she had wanted him for I Love Lucy). In the beginning Mr Mooney was funny and a perfect foil to Lucy, but as the series went on, he grew tiresome.

and FTR, the setting is Danfield, not Danville :)
