Hey there. I'm wondering if anyone remembers a segment about an old man who was an artist and owned many renowned paintings and one day they were all stolen and held as ransom. Ring any bells?

This was the Ben Stahl Painting Thief. In 1966, an artist named Ben Stahl drew 15 portraits celebrating the final moments of christ and displayed it in the Museum of the Cross. 3 years later, thieves broke in and stole the painting. ben Stahl passed away in 1987 and the paintings have never been found.

Thank. Just watched the case again. Truly a dispicable act. As a fellow artist, I can tell that Ben Sthal put a lot of passion, blood, and sweat into those masterpieces. I'm guessing those paintings are probably spread out throughout the United States by now, or perhaps throughout the globe and the thiefs have made an execessive amount of profit over the years. This is worse than robbing a bank in my opinion.
