Do you think there will ever be anymore Mama's Family DVD releases? It's been almost 4 years since the first season was released. Also, if they ever get the right to the original uncut versions do you think they'll just reissue the first season?

Warner Home Video recently had another of their online chats and it was stated that they were re-examining the possibility of more releases, but made no promises. As for getting the rights for the uncut episodes from seasons 1 and 2, don't hold your breath. They aren't going to spend one cent more than they have to on any future releases.

I really hope they continue "Mama's Family" on dvd. Season 1 actually wasn't that bad. Even though it was the syndicated versions, the quality was terrific. That's what we have been watching whenever the show has been re-run. So it didn't bother me. I just wanted to have the series in high quality dvds. They should just issue a complete series set and be done with it. I think that would be the best way to capitalize on sales.

I'd love to have the rest of Mama's Family on DVD. I particularly loved the Bubba years.
