Today, doctors for Bret Michaels announced that the singer and contestant on NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice," who recently suffered a serious cerebral hemorrhage, may be well enough to appear on the live season finale on May 23, reports the AP.
Michaels has been hospitalized in the intensive care unit for over a week, but his physician, Dr. Ronald Benitez, director of cerebrovascular surgery at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey did not rule out his recovering enough to take part on the show.He was optimistic.
According to the doctor, "If all the studies he had done show no evidence of an aneurysm being found, it would really just depend on his energy level. If all the tests were negative, and I was watching the show at the end of May, I personally wouldn't be surprised if he was on it."
Michaels has already filmed a majority of this season's "Apprentice," but the live finale involves the last two contestants to debate in front of Donald Trump live to decide the winner. Michaels is still in the running for the final two spots.
