Yeah, I like the name Wallace Thrasher, haha. His last name's "Thrasher"!

I just saw that segment recently, but can't remember anything about it except for his name and that he was a criminal. What was the case about in which he was mentioned?

Anyway, that sounds like the name of a villain in a big blockbuster movie: the name's Thrasher, Wallace Thrasher.

1. Kurt McFall - A name that is filled with a lot of irony considering his possible fate.

2. Ralph Probst.

3. Rogest Cain-

4. Wheeler--seems like a popular last name for people.

5. Bob Bean - if ever a name matched a person...

6. Melvin Luther Wilson- with a name like that your either a robber or a presidential assassin. :D

7. DB Cooper.

Dub Wackerhagen's full name is Lee Herman Wackerhagen, Jr. Dub is probably short for "Dubya", the Texas pronounciation the letter "W", which would be short for his last name.

Daizien Hossencofft. (real name Armand Chavez) Weird lookin dude who lived on Moon Street (kind of an unusual street name).

Was he ever profiled on UM for the suspected murder of his beautiful wife, Girly Chew Hossencofft? Seems like the murder weapon may have been some kind of a japanese ninja sword.

At his accomplice's trial, he testified that he was a shape shifter who was capable of being in two places at one time. He also claimed to have created his son in a test tube, himself. Lots of other weird details to this case, too, beyond just the odd names of the accused and victim.

TracyLynnS

Oba Chandler. Not really too odd of a name, but kinda rare. I don't think I've ever run across anyone named "Oba" before...

Mahfuz Huq. Probably not such a rare name in his country of origin, but kind of unusual sounding to the ears of a 1980s american audience.

Stryder Starfyre. Real name, Daniel Clement Chafe.

Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter, known as Christopher Chichester when John and Linda Sohus went missing, and also sported the alias Clark Rockefeller.

Gabriel "Carrhotic" Carillo. Supposedly Carrhotic is an ancient celtic name that this guy adopted as his religious identification.

I always wondered if Daizien and Girly Chew were brought together by eHarmony based on the dimentions of compatibility of their wierd names! Honestly--"Girly Chew"? That can't be a birthname! It sounds more like a brand of snuff endorsed by Hannibal Lecter.

Joseph Prushanowski's name has a musical ring to it. It's the perfect name for that man.

This case was never on UM, but has been featured on AMW a bunch of times since about 1991. A foreigner living in the U.S. was on the run for a hit and run which cost several teenagers their lives. His name is Sarkis Peltakian. I would absolutely love to see his excuse once captured somewhere in Armenia: "No, no! I am innocent! You must have me confused with another Sarkis Peltakian!".

Ladell Farley. He was a detective in I couldn't possibly remember which segment off the top of my head. Not a particularly common name, especially for a white guy.

Also, in the Liza Montgomery segment, a guy who was interviewed but not actually shown on camera was apparently named "Smiles Zepeda."

And, of course, the infamous "Gabby." It may not be his real name, but it's by far the silliest pseudonym that UM ever gave an interviewee.

You know, this just hit me, but since "Roger" ends in -er and is considered an amplifying adjective (i.e. cool/cooler), maybe Rogest's parents considered "Rogest" to be a superior or superlative name to "Roger." Grammatically, a case can be made for that.

It's very silly, but this just hit me and I had to share it for some reason.

Anyway, my votes go to Rohrey Wychgel and Bo Tanner.

It was Dubenion Joseph Ross and he went by Joey. His father named him. I remember that his mother had a sister after he went missing and she named her Elizabeth. I don't know why, but for some reason he reminded me of that guy from James Bond with the gold teeth.

Don't know how I missed this little doozy from the Debra Poe missing persons case which I must have watched about 100 times.

I remember him! He looked dirt old back then so I just did a Google search as of 2013, he is still alive.

That picture is beyond funny. I would laugh at his facial expression alone but Riggs LOL. I'm so immature.

I swear someone's name was Peter Piper.

Yes indeed, that was on the Black Widow segment, aka Maria Rodriguez - Secorro - Lapine -Lapine, whatever the hell her 50 mile long name was.

So many odd names already posted. Maybe that was one of the criteria for getting in the show?

The psychiatrist in Samantha Kibalo's segment (baby abducted by mother with suspected Munchausen's by proxy) was named Dr. Pepper.
