VS.the word game.Remember back in the early 1990's(I think it was 1993),NBC debuted a short-lived game show hosted by Dick Clark called "Scattergories",based on the word game of the same name?It was on afternoons back-to-back with the revival of the NBC hit from the 1980's ,"Scrabble"."Scattergories"was okay, but nothing to write home about, and shortly after its cancellation, along with the cancellation of the revival of "Scrabble",NBC gave up on daytime game shows.Anyway, getting back to the original question:To those of you who have seen the series and played the word game,a couple of questions:1)Which did you like better?Playing the game or watching the TV show? and 2)Do you think if it were to be revived,do you think it would be a hit?

I liked the board game better. Dick was a top rate host as always, but the show just didn't do all that much for me. Also, $4,000 in the bonus round, even by 1993 standards was pretty cheap, and that was divided between the four team members. I forgot if the bonus went up if it wasn't won.
