I think Jinny will start drink'n again, what about u? atleast I hope she does

I can understand how Jinny's drinking problem can make for a very interesting season, but I think they'll eventually send a message. Jinny's condition shouldn't be glorified. I know that's they way we are used to seeing Nancy and she does a great acting job but she can't be an alcoholic forever. I'm sure there will be a twist in the show and we'll still love Jinny. She can still be a bit of a bad girl sober too!

I hope they just don't start the new season and she's all better and all cause that's now how it is trust me I know people who have gone through this and I hope they show what a strougle it is to stop drinkg IMO. :wave:

Jinny's struggle with alcohol is what makes her character interesting. I know she will fall off the wagon adn I can't wait to see what will happen, who will find out and who will help her .
This is going to be a great season I can not wait less than 4 weeks. :D

She has to fall into temptation sometime. Everybody does. It's human. She has to.

There's more to the character of Jinny Exstead than her drinking and sleeping around. I don't think she'd be any less interesting if she did neither of those things. Frankly, she'd be better off. Obviously she's not going to come back all cured,etc. So people whom are 'worried' about that aspect it's not going to happen. She'll be as dysfunctional as ever for all you people who enjoy seeing that.

On her commercial she was talking to a guy (not someone she'd sleep with.........) Anyway, she was talking to him he was an older man probably her Alcohol Sponsor. So obviously if it was her Alcohol sponser, Jinny must be getting help. As well as she is running to avoid drinking it would also seem. It won't be an easy road, but she'll get through it.

The drinking only stays interesting for a limited amount of time. Personally, I'm already sick of it. Have been for awhile. That's only my opinion. Jinny is strong. I think LeVine will finally realize that and get through the whole drinking issues eventually. There's more to Jinny than the drinking. Things that can't be taken away or erased. Like her mother.
Even if she's sober her attitude is not going to change. It seems to me when she drinks she get's more cryish. That's not something I like to watch.

I agree with everything you said. I personally would rather watch Jinny without all the alcohol and sleeping around. I guess I am not normal, most people like dysfunctional I on the other hand do not. With every thing that goes on in this world I can see enough dysfunctional stuff just watching the news. I prefer to watch great shows to get away from all the sadness in this world. Not saying I don't know dsfunctional things happen and it is a part of life. I for one know better than most. But I also know that people can get help and stay sober. I personally would love to see Jinny overcome the drinking. That is just me.

I know people who are alcoholics. I have a few in my family. My Uncle was one who would backslide all the time. He eventually ended up dying from this disease and that is what it is a disease. On the other hand my grandfather quit and never went back to it. So you see it doesn't always have a unhappy ending. My grandfather made a choice to stay sober and he did. I have been thru a lot of family stuff on this matter and also other matters.

Its wednesday night.... on lifetime at this time... its like 10:22 where im at..... Bonnie Bedelia is in this movie.... her hair is darker though and she looks a little younger. Anyways... I really dont care if Jinny comes back healthy and sober.... or BSing everyone into thinking she is sober..... I just dont want to see her all fine and dandy in the new season. I really am annoyed because they left a lot of loose ends to last season.... LIke whatever happened to Theo? Whatever happened to Jinny lying about the time she was in the bar and Magda was almost blown away by some low life. Jinny lied to Magda... I hope she tells her the truth. Personally, I think she will still be great even without the drinking problem..... dont get me wrong.... you know how interesting it is to see someone act out something dramatic and irratic.... but I think Jinny will always be an interesting character sober or not. JMO

I hope that she comes back like the way she left(only not crying)the same old Jinny Exstead.I know most of you want her to stop drinking and get help....So do I but not till Season3.

The drinking (to me)makes Jinny more......interesting to watch,
Never knowing what she's going to do next is(to me)half the fun of watching the show.

To me Watching someone else who's life is more messed up makes me feel that my life cant get any worse.

I just dont want her to show up with a smile on her face and say in a cheery(sp?)voice."Im back!" I Might stop watching it right then and there.

I think it's funny how you guys are discussing whether or not jinny will be the same. She will always be the same character, just her flaws will change. Even if she gets over the drinking (if that sounds wrong I'm sorry) she will always be the same smart mouthed bitch. I'm amazed that nancy is able to make such a flawed character like jinny so lovable. I think it's funny that people care whether she sleeps around and drinks. Those are just 2 flaws. She'll still have plenty left for those that want all the flaws. I think the flaws have the possibility to attract some pretty good guys. Like Teddy for instace?? :happyface
