Did Steve ever get mad at Dodie when she did something bad,like he did with the boys(Mike,Robbie,Chip and later on,Ernie),or did he let Barbara do that?

Really the worst or most punishable thing she did was when she left the house secretly, alone, and walked over to Katie & Rob's apartment one night. Steve & Barbara became very worried once they discovered she was gone without a trace. Later, once they got her back home, Dodie was told she would be punished -- I think Barbara stated that, but I'm not certain.

Barbara did tend to be the one who told her when she'd done something wrong. For example, when she utilized Chip & Ernie as protectors when she was being bullied, Barbara explained that it was a bad thing to make her classmates fear her older brothers -- hinting at what they would do as far as harming them. Steve remained pretty laid back, although he did interact directly at times -- like when Dodie put a string on his secret, experimental aircraft model, thinking it was a toy.

Overall, I would say that Steve let Barbara handle most things that came up with Dodie. As a married couple however, they did sometimes discuss what was going on with her and what would be the appropriate action (if any).

I couldnt stand Dodie, she was so annoying.
