Hello All -
Here's a thread to predict the fall schedule for NBC!
All potential pilots can be found on www.thefutoncritic.com and some recent buzz about certain pilots can be found here: http://www.deadline.com/2010/04/primetime-pilot-panic-early-hot-list/ or here: http://livefeed.hollywoodreporter.com/2010/04/pilot-status-report-.html
Feel free to update this all the way until the upfronts!!
Here's my prediction:
Mondays
8:00 THIS LITTLE PIGGY
8:30 PERFECT COUPLES
9:00 LAW & ORDER: LOS ANGELES
10:00 THE ROCKFORD FILES
--- Yes, I think NBC needs to blow up Mondays and start over. I put these two comedies specifically because they are multi-camera and will be a departure from NBC's Thursday comedies. NBC can follow that with an established name in L&O but a new show and then one of their biggest hopes in "Rockford Files" which would have a great showdown with "Hawaii Five-O" if my predictions for NBC and CBS are correct
Tuesdays
8:00 The Biggest Loser
10:00 Parenthood
--- I initially thought "Parenthood" needed to move ASAP but it has stabilized and I think NBC might opt to keep it here for another year with TBL lead-in
Wednesdays
8:00 Heroes/Chuck
9:00 UNDERCOVERS
10:00 Law & Order: SVU
--- It makes no sense but something tells me NBC will bring back "Heroes" and "Chuck" for one more half season each. It might bring the whole night down but "SVU" is a stable hit and "Undercovers" sounds very promising. Not the smartest idea, but when is NBC the smartest?
Thursdays
8:00 Community
8:30 30 Rock
9:00 The Office
9:30 OUTSOURCED
10:00 LOVE BITES
--- I realize this is partly wishful thinking but "30 Rock" has done nothing good with the post-"Office" slot for years and it needs to go. I do think NBC will want to get "Outsourced" on the schedule so I see one of the shows on the back burner which will sadly probably be "Parks & Rec." "Love Bites" would be a good dramedy to follow the comedies
Fridays
8:00 Minute to Win It
9:00 Who Do You Think You Are?
10:00 Dateline NBC
--- I see Fridays remaining unscripted and "Minute to Win It" might be a good lead show while "Who Do You Think You Are" has been a decent success by NBC Friday standards
Saturdays
8:00 Encores
--- One step at a time, NBC
Sundays
7:00 Football Night in America
8:00 Sunday Night Football
--- Obviously. Look for "The Apprentice" at midseason and we'll see how the fall schedule goes
Midseason: The Apprentice, CHASE, THE EVENT, Friday Night Lights (in the summer), Law & Order, KINDREDS, The Marriage Ref, NEXT, Parks and Recreation
--- I could see NBC picking up more shows than this especially with Sunday opening up in January, but this is how I see things shaking out for now. I could see "The Marriage Ref" heading to Sundays or Thurs if "Love Bites" fails and if it's doing alright. "Next" could replace one of the Thursday comedies for awhile
Cancelled/Ended: The Jay Leno Show, Mercy, Trauma
--- NBC has too much space to fill to cancel more shows
