hello i was just wondering i wish they did more with mr bentley then have him come over borrowing stuff all the time i know he did have a few more storylines with him punching out the cop and stuff but i think he could evolved more even see what the un looks like anyone else agree

Absolutely!!! I really dislike how they sidelined his character as this goofy doormat who just let people walk all over him! We should've seen his work-life (like getting involved in some Russia espionage), why he felt the need to keep dating several women, and most importantly, we needed to see him stand up to George for being such an awful neighbor and even worse friend to him!

Also, why did we never see the inside of his apartment? We got to see the inside of the Willises.

We got to see the vestibule of his place in the year one episode Old Neighors and the full living room in the last season episode Chairman of the Bored. In that last season episode there were framed paintings on the wall of Bentley's relatives all of whom looked like him (including a woman). I guess we didn't see his place before then for staging reasons (avoiding the need to use another set since the show was filmed with a studio audience up through season 8)

Well since the show was about the Jeffersons and he was only a neighbor why would we see in the inside of his apt? We saw the Willises apt because they were friends and family but Bentley was just a single man living alone so it was no need to see his apt
