Both were paperback books that came out after "Night Gallery"ended, and featured classic episodes of the series that were written by Rod Serling,AND NO ONE ELSE,and featured such stories that Serling wrote for the series(but I've heard that other writers rewrote)the ORIGINAL versions of episodes "They're Tearing Down Tim Riley's Bar","Rare Objects(aka "Collectors'Items",)"Make Me Laugh","Clean Kills and Other Trophies","The Different Ones","Lindemann's Catch"(the one about the lonely, tyrannical captain and the mermaid he falls in love with)"The Messiah on Mott Street",and "Pamela's Voice".Anyone remember the episodes AND the books?

I still have the second book, although I haven't read it in over 37 years. They
picked some outstanding episodes (which I also remember watching). If you're a fan of the TV series, it's the next best thing to seeing them again. BTW, great cover art, too.
