CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Browns running back Chris Jennings was arrested early Saturday morning, say police.
According to Sgt. Sam Morris with the Cleveland Police Department, Jennings was taken into custody by deputies with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office.
Jennings was taken to Cleveland's city jail around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, and is being held in suspicion of assault. According to Sgt. Morris, Jennings has not been charged with a crime at this point.
Jennings played in nine games for the Browns during the 2009 season.
