Warning: Some of the clips contain profanity and adult material.

1. "Scooby Doo" from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

Kevin Smith's flesh and blood translation of the famed mystery solvers put a dark spin on the motives of Fred, Thelma, Daphne and Shaggy, thanks in part to Jay's drug addled mind.

The only thing creepier is the deleted version that features Scooby Doo with a rather large, um, "Scrappy Doo." That particular scene isn't on the Internet because forcing your viewers to curse their ability to see can have a dramatic effect on web traffic.

2. "Family Guy" on "MadTV"

Fox golden boy and animator dominator Seth MacFarlane gave his own creation a live action treatment on an episode of "MadTV". Thank God it didn't catch on.

Translating "Family Guy's" regular level of bloody comedy violence is like watching Bad Boys II with an intentional laugh track.

Plus, casting little Stewie would be a problem since babies don't talk and only half of them aren't evil. The closest they could get was by putting diminutive cast member Bobby Lee in red overalls and scalp makeup that looks like a butt with six cheeks.

3. "Beavis & Butt-head" on "Step by Step"

This sub-par Patrick Duffy sitcom committed a lot of crimes against entertainment, but they came very close to committing an actual crime against copyright infringement when they introduced two characters that looked, sounded and acted suspiciously like two other animated characters.

They are physically and viscerally frightening, but not so much when you compare them to the average high school teenager who impersonated them all throughout the 90's.

4. "South Park" on "Dutch Comedy Central"

Whenever I watch footage of foreign television, It's almost completely uninhibited by the niggling nitpicking of network censors and the humorless FCC.

Curse words are fair game. Violence is rarely left to the imagination. And the nudity, oh that sweet, sweet nudity.

However, this recent ad for "South Park" from the Netherlands makes me wish I could give FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski a big bear hug.

5. Spanish "Simpsons"

Speaking of foreign television, here's a bit of Spanish broadcasting that attempts to bring the iconic Homer and Marge Simpson into our real living rooms.

The only problem is their blank expressions and giant bug eyes parks them square in the middle of our darkest, yellowest dreams.
