The final episode of "Ugly Betty" airs tonight on ABC, but the fat lady may not have sung. Ana Ortiz, who plays Betty's sexy older sister Hilda Suarez on the show, told Latina magazine a movie may be in the works. She wouldn't give away any details about the series finale, but she said:

I will say this: It’s open. There may be a movie. It’s something that we’ve been talking about and it’s something that America Ferrera would really love to do. That woman has so much determination that I can’t imagine anything she puts her mind to not getting done.”

Ortiz said the "Ugly Betty" Suarez family is a family off screen as well. She loves her TV son and sister.

I’m hanging out with Mark Indelicato on Tuesday and I’m seeing America on Friday. I’m still hanging out with all of these people. This is family for life."

ABC moved "Ugly Betty" to Friday nights after ratings fell during the third season. When the show didn't do well in that ratings graveyard spot, the network canceled it.

It wouldn't work how are you going to make a profit if there were no ratings, can't imagine it doing well in the theartres, besides Willy has moved on already.
