I was the high bidder on these cute Freddie Prinze pin-ups on E-Bay. I had sent in payment for them but evidently it hasn't yet gotten to the seller cuz I got a Non-Paying Bidder Warning in my e-mail from E-Bay today.

I had to write to the seller to let them know that I did indeed send them the payment for the Freddie Prinze pin-ups. It should've gotten to them already as my husband mailed out the payment before Thanksgiving. So I am suspecting the payment should to be getting to them anytime now. We are having problems with our mail being so slow & the Sept 11 events & anthrax scares haven't helped a bit. It looks like mail that we've sent out is really slow in getting to it's destination & any mail sent to us is really slow in getting to us. Stuff mailed to the West Coast seems to be really slow in getting there. I ordered something off of E-Bay over the summer & even tho the seller sent it, it still hasn't gotten to me yet. I had hoped that if the payment had gotten to the seller that they would let me know. When I didn't hear from them I assumed either they had gotten the payment already & forgot to let me know or it hadn't gotten there yet but would be getting there soon.


I noticed on E-Bay that the seller had up for sale some Freddie Prinze pin-ups that looked like the ones I had bid on. I suspect these might be the ones I had bid on & perhaps the seller thought I wasn't going to pay for them & put them back up for auction. (growl) :( I would never buy something & then not pay.

If they are the Freddie Prinze pin-ups that I had won the bid on, I sure hope no one bids on them so I can still get them as I really wanted them bad. I had really fallen in love with the bigger pin-up poster of Freddie Prinze & if someone else got it instead of me, I would be heartbroken. :(

I suspect my payment will get to the seller either during the auction or after the auction. If someone bids on the pics & my payment makes it to the seller before the auction is over then the seller will have a problem LOL! If the auction ends before my payment gets to them then someone else will get my Freddie Pinups. :( My hubby said if the seller winds up selling the pin-ups to someone else he'll have to cancel out the check. :(

So I thought folks might want to know & be forewarned.

In other sad news someone who doesn't hang out on any of the CATM/Freddie sites has bid on the Freddie doll for $25 & won the auction & now my doll gets to live with a stranger. :( Sigh... :crying:

I'm so sorry,I know exactly how you feel.This has happened to me a few times and it's a terrible feeling. :(

I hope that you do receive pin-ups of Freddie that you don't currently have somehow and I hope that they(the seller)don't think that they are going to keep your money if they do in fact sell the item to someone else before they receive it(Your payment). :nonono:

I got some bad news from the seller in an e-mail. Because my payment hasn't gotten there yet & she needed the payment within 10 days she had to re-list the pin-ups. I hope to re-bid on them but to get the payment quicker to the seller I will have to send payment via money order instead of check & send it via the one day mail which costs $$$. Yuck! & I have to pray that one one bids on them. Sigh... My husband is now upset that I didn't get into Freddie in the 70's so I could've gotten the stuff origional... Sigh... :(

bummer....hope you get them....again. I am going to see if I can have some old clipping I found scanned so I can post them. Good Luck!

Hi Cheryl, sorry your having problems with ebay,I have in the past also... or I mean the sellers on ebay , Good Luck Girl! Hope it all works out :)I wish there were more honest people in the world but I guess thats the way the cookie crumbles :mad: I get so mad at people who scam me too.
