When I signed on to the message board today I noticed that my post count was lower than it was yesterday. I was wondering if there was any rhyme or reason behind that phenominon. It just seemed strange to me that my post count would go down. It's not like I can come here and unpost!

If any of your posts are deleted then your post count is reduced. I'm not aware of any other way it could be happening.

If that's the case then approximately 160 of my posts were deleted and I didn't delete them. If I understand how this site works correctly then it must have been a moderator or administrator who deleted them. I'm sure there must be a reason this was done but it seems to me I should have at least been given an explanation.

What I think happened is that a Dixie Carter thread was being copied over to Chit yesterday and it accidentally got posted about 40-50 times. You didn't actually lose any posts. You gained some by the threads being posted multiple times. You lost them when the extra threads were deleted.

No I think what really happened is that Charles (Zoneboy) got mad at me and deleted all of my posts from the chit cat music association thread.

That thread had 75 duplicates at one point. I just sat there totally dumbfounded and kept wondering if anyone was going to jump on me for it. :lol:

Not at all, I deleted just one post and that was because you had the title wrong. I knew it was wrong the moment I saw it posted and submitted proof. I'm sorry that you felt you had to stop playing because you didn't think I was being fair but I would've done the same thing to anyone else playing.

This probably didn't happen in your case but I know some posts are lost when threads are deleted. I lost some posts in a game thread once that was deleted.
