What puzzled me was Richie's inconsistent attitude towards cheating on Lori Beth.

When he was attracted to Thunder, the ranch girl, he told her that he had a girlfriend and he couldn't cheat on her.

When he made out with the cheerleader, he felt bad, confessed his infidelity and Lori Beth dumped him. Of course, by the end of the episode, they were back together and everything was just fine again.

When Fonzie and Richie met the two Swedish farm girls, Richie had no guilt about making out with one of them while on vacation.

When Richie met the older female photographer, he was ready to ditch college and Lori Beth and run off with her. Again, no guilt about wanting to go off with another woman.

But the silliest thing was having Fonzie stand in for him at his wedding ceremony while he was in the "army." Did Fonzie fill in on the honeymoon as well...?:eek:

Silly, yes, but you have to admit that was a pretty clever way of getting them married without Richie actually being there.
