How often are you told to "Clean you room"?

My mother brings up the subject at least twice a day. This weekend I finally cleaned it. It's still clean too. I dusted and vacuumed. I'm so proud of myself LOL

I haven't yet, but if I do then I get to paint and move my room around :D

My room is usually clean, and i dont clean it everyday,,,,,,,, It really never gets Messy.......just because the only things i do in my room are video games and watch TV.......

Practically every day! :D I am such a slob... you'd scream if you ever saw my room seriously.

Never. I cant stand a messy room. A clean room is a happy room!

Only every second of every day. It's never clean. I can't STAND a clean bedroom. I HAVE to have papers strewn all over the floor. I need the occasional pop can. I've got to leave my books and pens and folders everywhere. Otherwise I can't find anything. It really is an organized mess; I have an easier time finding things if my room's messy than if it's "clean." (It's never fully clean, because I never clear stuff from my dresser or desk, and I always forget to vaccuum.)

Same here. As long as my room doesn't look like Oscar Madison's, we're all satisfied.

EWWW, my room is a complete mess, I'm gonna clean it this weekend for sure. Probably on Friday, my cats made a complete mess in here with litter today it's all over my carpet :eek: I'll vaccum it up tomorrow.

Apart from a few magazines lying here and there my room is always pretty tidy. My mother doesn't have any right to order me to clean my room anyway - I pay rent on it so technically I am allowed to leave it as messy as I want.

Actually I have to "clean" it tonight because family is coming in tomorrow, so it has to look half way decent. Besides, my brother hasn't seen my shark yet so he has to be able to GET IN my bedroom so he can see it.

The advantages to not living at home with the parents...they can't tell me to clean my room. It's hardly messy compared to how I kept my room in California, now THAT was bad! lol...but I clean it every so often...like when I have company coming.

I sorta need to get a dresser for my clothes though. As living on your own has its advantages, the bad points are you ALWAYS have to fend for yourself, and if you have no dresser...that's YOUR problem. Ah well...at least I can go to bed when I want and do what I want...so pros and cons are pretty even.

WHen my mum was alive she was always coming in my room with a vacumn cleaner and I hated it cause sometimes she messed stuff up by hitting them with the cleaner..

Since my mum passed I havent really cleaned it much.... Sometimes my dad comes in and vacumns.... Im not good at it... If I spill a glass of milk I of course rush to clean that up... I suppose it could be cleaner in my room but for me,its fine...
