Dont let none of that religious talk Esther did fool you. LaWanda Page was quite the comidiane, and could hold her own. Yeah her comedy is not for the kids.

Yeah I heard she had a real X talking act....definitely the complete opposite of the character she played on the show.

I remember the first time I heard her album Pipe Laying Dan,I was like WOW.

Redd Foxx was one of the bluest comics that ever was, he was dirtier than even Richard Pryor or any of them. Yeah, if you don't like four letter words and graphic stories and humor, Redd Foxx isn't for you. But if you are, Redd was funny as s**t.

I watched her stand-up act a long time ago, she is pretty X ratted but FUNNY!! Surprised me out of "Aunt Esther" she had a dirtier mouth than Redd Foxx lol

I saw Redd Foxx Live in Las Vegas in 1985 and he was very funny BUT not nearly as Dirty as LaWanda !
