The Wall Street Journal reports that Oprah Winfrey plans to host a new series on her OWN cable network.
Titled "Oprah's Next Chapter," the hourlong evening show will air two or three times a week. The format will jettison Winfrey's usual studio setting and have Oprah conducting interviews with notable figures around the world.
"Chapter" will likely debut later this year on the cable network, a venture from Harpo and Discovery Communications.
Winfrey told the Journal that she may appear in other OWN programs, including a potential book-club series.
"My name's going to show up on that grid a lot," she said.
Winfrey's syndicated daytime talk show ends in September.
