Michael Landon announces he has inoperable pancreatic cancer. He would pass away less than 3 months later,

I still remember when he died. Years later, I became good friends with his youngest "daughters", Brenda and Wendi Turnbaugh (Grace Ingalls). On the right is a pic I took while visiting Brenda in 2007. The twins were able to visit "Pa" on the set of Highway to Heaven and given jackets. Unfortunately, there were no kids' jackets available, so Mr. Landon had to give the girls adult jackets - which, as you can see, fit fine now!!! :cool: :D

He touched so many lives with his talent, humor, integrity, compassion and heart. He changed the course of my life forever and by his example I learned so much both professionally and personally. Today, first and foremost in my mind and heart are Mike’s children (https://news.amomama.com/196635-cindy-landon-shares-pic-michael-landon-k.html), their spouses and their children. I know he is looking down on all of them just beaming with joy, pride and love. What a remarkable legacy he created, not only through is beautiful work, but through his beautiful family. “Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that’s how I will remember you all.
