Monika was very welcoming to me when I first started posting here. She made me feel at home, which to be quite honest, isn't that easy.

I try not to presume much about people on message boards because it's a bit of a skewed reality, but I feel safe and confident in saying that Monika is "the real deal", a genuine person whose caring and honest nature is impossible to miss and whose sense of humor, intelligence and general decency are so refreshing and welcome.

I can't add much to the accolades everyone else has posted, other than to say the world needs more people like Monika and it has been a great honor to "meet" and interact with her!

I wholeheartedly concur with everything that has been said about Monika! She was one of the first people to befriend me when I came here. I love her sense of humor and I love that she laughs at even my silly jokes. And last year at a point when I was going through a difficult time (that I don't know if she even knew about) I received an e-mail from Monika that contained some Chynna and Vaughn songs that really touched my heart and helped me heal. Thank-you Monika for being such a good friend and also for all you contribute to S.O. You are a big part of what makes this message board so special, so welcoming , and so fun!

It's people like Monika that makes me want to keep coming to SO. She's kind, caring and just a regular nice person. No matter what your mood is, she's always there to cheer you up. I can repeat what many others have said and they are all true. The best one though is that she's the "real deal." What you see is what you get with her. If more people were like Monika, this world would be a better place. So thank you Monika for all you do that makes SO a great place to visit. :)

I remember when I first joined that Monika was one of the first people to welcome me aboard. She has a great personality, loves God, and is always there to lift anyone up whenever they need it.

Monika has become a very dear friend to me. She's always kind and considerate, and if I'm ever feeling down she always makes a point to say something kind and encouraging that always makes me feel better. I can only hope that a little bit of her will rub off on me. :)

Monika rocks! She's become such an essential part of these boards. They definitely wouldn't be the same without her.

One thing I love about Monika is that while she takes her shows seriously, she doesn't take them (or things in general) too seriously.

She's not above a laugh at something provided it's not mean-spirited.

Of course, I'm probably biased because she's laughed a few things I've said:rolleyes: , but still...

I take a lot of things seriously, but I don't take MYSELF too seriously!! I love to laugh (which is why I enjoy the funny classic sitcoms), but I refuse to let other people bring me down. Life is so much easier that way!! :D
