Virginia was the daughter of Ben & Cindy Walton. There was a storyline where she had passed away and they were going to adopt another child but I'm not sure if her cause of death was ever mentioned.

That is sad! I wonder why that had her pass away? I kind of remember Ben and Cindy having a little boy in one of the Walton movie specials!? But I could be wrong!

In the reunion movies all the grandchildren who had been born during the run of the series (John Curtis, Ginny [Virginia]) mysteriously ceased to exist and were replaced by other grandchildren. Even Mary Ellen had several children with her second husband, Jonesy, in spite of that fact that during their honeymoon she was involved in a car accident that left her unable to have more children!!

As much as I enjoyed the reunion movies they played pretty fast and loose with both the storylines and the timelines!
