Most of the episodes of "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour"were slow (sometimes VERY slow)moving and somewhat boring.The openings were great(sometimes the best thing about the hourlong episodes).HOWEVER,there were some very good episodes -1962's "Annabel"(CBS),1964's "The Jar"(CBS-FAR better than the1980's NBC half-hour remake),1964's "Beast in View"(CBS-again,FAR better than the 1980's NBC half-hour remake),1964's "The Return of Verge Likens",and 1965's"Death Scene"(both NBC).
