At the end of most every episode, they kissed and made up,after they had a minor squabble.(AWWWWW-That was nice). But,my question is this:In the Dick Sargent as Darrin years, did they do the same thing?Yes,or No?And what I don't get,is why Elizabeth Montgomery preferred Dick Sargent to Dick York?

And in the black and white Dick York as Darrin years when Tabitha was born,Darrin and Endora embraced and hugged each other.(AWWWWW That was nice). But my question is this:In the Dick Sargent as Darrin years when Adam was born, did they embrace and hug each other?Yes or No?

Darrin & Samantha Kissing, Hugging & holding each other to make up or just to express their Love for each other was common place through all 8 years with both Dick York & Dick Sargent as Darrin.

Elizabeth Montgomery's preference as to which performance as Darrin has never been alluded too, however she was friends with Dick Sargent but not with Dick York.

When Adam was born Endora embraced Maurice not Darrin.

Yes, it did seem that EM and DY kissed multiple times in each episode, but the kissing and bedroom scenes between her and DS were few and far between.

Actually Liz & DS kissed at least once per episode on average so it was somewhat commonplace, Liz & DY kissed once or so more per episode, but then they were young & new to Marriage & all so it made sense.

Yes -- from my older memories of my viewing, I tend to picture Liz and D. Sargent together in embraces.

I might add that when Serena went back in time in one of the DS seasons, Sargent's character was really hot for her. Of course, both York and Sargent were hot for Samantha with their Darrin the Bold characters.

Remember too when Sargent's Darrin needed to plant a kiss on Sam to restore her memory, when back in time (or was that a DY episode?). Good stuff! -- sort of like a take on Sleeping Beauty...!

That was DY's Darrin who had to restore Samantha's memory with a kiss (in "Samantha Goes South For a Spell" from Season 5).

Thanks for the correction. I remember now -- that was a great Jack Cassidy appearance!

What about when Sam was in the clutches of Henry VIII, a Dick Sargent episode? I remember the coin and the honey, but did Sam just need to repeat a phrase to regain her memory?

The Coin & the Honey was from the Season Seven episode "Samantha's Old Salem Trip" # 208 where she had to bend to the east & say "Ahmed talu vasri lupin" & her memory came back.

In the Henry the VIII episode you refer too in Part Two she had to kiss Darrin (Dick Sargent), in both cases her memory came back & all was once again well with the world.

No problem! That is one of my favorite S5 eps. Not only did Jack Cassidy do a great job, so did Isabel "Weezy" Sanford!! :D

Thanks to both of you -- I didn't realize I had those episodes all mixed-up. But as I recalled, Dick Sargent did deliver a kiss on Elizabeth in one of them -- of course, Sam balked at first, not remembering Darrin.

Isabel was a memorable guest star in that earlier DY episode. I loved all of the time-travel eps!
