I know comedian Dave Chappelle once alluded to that fact on his now canceled show, but what is your opinion of the character and one time mascot of the now defunct WB network?

I never thought about it one way or the other, actually.

It never occurred to me that Michigan J. Frog might be racist. I just always thought he was funny!

Seriously, and I rarely react like this, but "WTF?" Is he offensive to people of Irish descent when he sings "Come back to Erin...?" Anyone that claims racism for this character is off his rocker, I'm sorry. He's just funny -- and innocuous!

Next thing you know, Peta will make a statement denouncing the poor guy who found him in the cornerstone...! Exploited an animal, don't you know. LOL

....was created by Chuck Jones and Mike Maltese to be an "old-fashioned" performer of the "Gay '90s" (and let's hear nothing about "gay bashing" because "gay", in that context, meant "happy", "carefree", "unabashed exuberance"- got that?). The frog's merely a performer of "old songs when they were new"- with NO "racist" overtones whatsoever! I would hardly expect someone like Dave Chappelle to understand that because he doesn't know the history of that era, or of "Michigan J. Frog". All he knows is what HE saw, and that's how he interpreted it. And where is he these days?

First off Dave Chapelle is an idiot. For the life of my I dont see how any human on this planet can find him funny.

Second its a singing frog. How in the hell is it racist????

Does the frog have a swastika??? Nope

Does the frog burn a cross??? Nope

Does the frog say n*gg*r, or any other slur? Nope

Now how is this frog racist?? What am I missing????

Good question. He just seemed to fall off the radar.
