Most episodes of "The Twilight Zone"were pretty good, but there were some pretty bad ones-ESPECIALLY "Caesar and Me"(written by a woman named A.T.Strassfield.I liked Rod Serling's similarly-themed "The Dummy"a lot better),Tony Wilson's "Come Wander With Me",and Rod Serling's "Cavender is Coming"(Rod Serling's 1960 episode from season one "Mr.Bevis"was a lot better). What are yours?

And another bad one (not up to his typical superior standards,or the version in the book New Stories From The Twilight Zone ,which Rod Serling also wrote, and is FAR better)is Rod Serling's TV version of "The Shelter".

"The Shelter" was great with fine acting from the entire cast. It was a companion episode to "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street" which I like better.

Another not so-good one,,that started out pretty darn decent, was the one written by Rod Serling(no,this WASN'T one of his best, like so many other good ones he did),called "Uncle Simon".Rod Serling was right in his closing that it was "uncomfortable"It was somewhat.

And still another not-very good one(it started out really good, but ended badly, and could have been played better.),was 1964's "What's in the Box?"In this one,I wish that Joe Britt(the late William Demarest)and unfortunately unpleasant wife Phyllis (the late Joan Blondell)had made up.Then there would have been a moral. As it was, there was nothing.
