Now I like ketchup, but I've been backing-down a little on it.

I would put ketchup on burgers, hot dogs (Unless I'm going to the Windy City), eggs, most potato products (if they're basically fried), onion rings, and sometimes chicken nuggets.

I really wouldn't say it's the worst condiment but the only thing I use it for is burgers and meatloaf. I don't even put it on fries or o-rings. I either eat those plain(well, with salt) or dip them in something else, like BBQ, Sweet & Sour, or mayo. Yes, I know mayo sounds gross but I love it!!;)

I never use ketchup, can't stand the stuff, or most condiments.

I like ketchup on hamburgers and french fries.

I can take it or leave it. Only use it on occasions. That said it has to be name brand ketchup like Heinz or maybe Hunts. The off the wall generic brands of ketchup are disgusting. puke:

Ew I hate ketchup! If I want something that tastes like tomatoes on my food, I will use real tomatoes. Because real tomatoes are healthier too.

We're mustard people in my family. I don't really hate ketchup, but I don't use it a lot either.

I used to put it on just about everything on my plate but I've gotten better about it and now and then I squirt it on my meat or rice.

I only use it on French Fries.

I love Heinz ketchup and they are a must with french fries (at least to me!)

I just had a Chicago Dog yesterday (In Lakewood, a 'burb of Cleveland) and I ate that without ketchup...and I didn't miss it since the tomatoes sufficed and ketchup is blasphemy for those dogs.

And sometimes when I get the Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger and there's a tomato on it...I won't add ketchup on it either!

I always put ketchup on hamburgers, along with mustard. If it's a restaurant hamburger that comes with another kind of sauce (the "special sauce" on a McDonald's Big Mac, Thousand Islands dressing, or whatever), I don't add ketchup.

Sometimes I put ketchup on french fries or tater tots. I'd say it breaks down to 50 percent of the time. If I put ketchup on fries or tots, I usually add extra salt to counteract the sweetness of the ketchup.

I've only tried Heinz, Hunts, and Del Monte ketchup. They're all OK. I think Heinz is a little too tart and Hunts is a little too mild, so lately I've been diggin' Del Monte.

Mmm, I LOVE ketchup. I use it on a lot of foods: fries, burgers, hot dogs, eggs, meatloaf, chicken fingers (although I usually prefer another sauce for this...bbq, sweet and sour, ranch, etc.). I'm a big condiment person. So bad for me but oh so good at the same time :)

Ketchup goes with everything....

Ketchup is the best! The only kind I like is "Heinz" of course. I eat it on French fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, and a few other things.It is also one of the only condiments I will eat. Others Include: Barbeque sauce and sweet and sour sauce (with chicken nuggets only)

Yeah! I had a coworker who always put mayo on his hotdogs! I said? :confused: and he said well, you put mayo on ham and bologna on a sandwich right? I was like yeah, that makes sense! So I tried it and it's really good! ;)

I don't mind ketchup but I'm one of those that hate and I mean hate tomatoes.

I have not touched that wretched concoction in 20 years. I hate it, it disgusts me, and I gag when I see it.

The reason is because when I was 16 I worked at McDonald's, and I had to clean that stuff off of EVERYTHING. I'm not exaggerating. The tables, the chairs, the playplace, the toilets, EVERYTHING.

I will never eat that condiment again ever. EVER. EVER.

for fries I prefer mayo, tartar sauce or malt vinegar

hot dogs should have mustard (Nathan's), mayo, or even dill relish - lately I've been putting pickled red onions on them (home-made)

I honestly can't think of anything else that seems reasonable to use it on.

YEP!!!! See another person who likes mayo on a hotdog! ;) :wave: I've never had mayo on fries,but I like it on fish sticks/fillets at home if I have no Tartar sauce! ;) :happyface

Ketchup is badly overrated.
