I can't remember the last time I saw an episode of the old UM. I waited for years for the Spike version to debut and I was really disapppointed. The DVD sets are good, but they don't scratch the surface for a diehard UM fan like me. I wish I knew where I could download episodes for free. I've seen them for sale here and there, but I think the show is too great for fellow fans to deny others the chance to see it.

I know there's a rule against buying and selling threads on this forum, but this is neither. If anyone could send me a TON of episodes, I would be less sad about the slow death of my all-time favorite show. :( If you can help me out, send them to allenglines@gmail.com

Yeah, I think it was best from 1988-1996 or so (some people don't even like it that late). It felt more like a real documentary and effort was put into the interviews and recreations. I got deep into it when I was 12 in '93 and haven't looked back since.

That's exactly what bugs me about the Spike versions - chopping so much of the original segments out along with "modernizing" it to where vital information could be left out. I always thought a simple solution they should've done was to just as they were but with an original airdate logo on it (just so the tech, graphics and fashions wouldn't confuse anyone) and of course updates if any came in.

P.S. As far as trading it might be better to PM people. I have alot of segments I taped and even more I got in a trade here.

I've been lurking in the shadows a lot. Until now I've wondered what blunt instrument I could throw at Spike headquarters and read the posts here of people wondering the same.

I'm more or less looking for somewhere where I can download full length episodes of the Stack version of UM. I'd love to trade episodes, but I don't have an episode stockpile like some people on this board. If anyone knows a good source where I can download episodes, please send me a private message.
